Ngayon na ito ay inihayag sa mas malawak na mundo, nagkaroon kami ng pagkakataon na makuha ang aming mga kamay sa isang bagong modelo ng gaming headset mula sa mga eksperto sa SteelSeries.
"Hello everyone and welcome to another Gamereactor Quick Look.
So SteelSeries has made a brand new headset, and you might be looking at it rather cynically and think, well I know that there's the Elite which costs significantly more with some really premium features and materials, but if I just go out and I buy the regular Arctis Nova Pro Wireless, which you should because it's excellent, well what is the news here?
Well I think the good news is that Omni in that name, the Arctis Nova Pro Omni, well therein lies pretty much like the most important thing that is to know about this particular headset, which is that this is one of the few headsets on the planet actually which supports all of the major platforms with all of the major features enabled and with no caveats as it comes to usability and connection."
"It is quite frankly amazing for that very reason.
That means that this is mainly suited for those that want to hot swap between platforms.
So you might have a PS5 and an Xbox and a Switch, you might have some of those, you might have none of them, but the point is that if you have several and you want to use the same headset, there's a good reason why you want the Arctis Nova Pro Omni."
"But that is what they want me to say.
But what I will say, which I think they'll be pleased by, is that I think you should just buy these kinds of headsets full stop because even though SteelSeries has been making them like this for a while, they continue to just be the absolute best mix of features that I can come across."
"So first and foremost, this shape is fantastic.
It is not too heavy, it is not too light, and it feels there is flexibility in its construction, but it's firm enough so you feel like it's a quality product, you know what I mean?
Furthermore, this stretchy headband here saves me every single time with extended gameplay sessions because unlike if you just put padding at the bottom of the brace, well that will create that pressurization effect at the top of your head, which I think is painful at longer sessions, well this, because my head is actually not touching the top of the brace, well, eliminates that problem entirely."
"There are more great things as well.
No boomer microphone that you need to remove and store somewhere when you're not using it, neither does it get in the way because it's a flip-up, no, it stores neatly inside the cup, and it's not a bad microphone either, it's a fantastic directional microphone that will run you at 32 kHz or 16-bit, really fantastic as well."
"Additionally, I think that it looks pretty awesome, it comes with custom 40mm neodymium magnet drivers, it'll run between 10 or 40,000 Hz, it supports high-res Bluetooth 5.3 and LE audio, it's great, it really sounds fantastic.
There's active noise cancellation in here, there's spatial audio support with Tempest 3D for PlayStation 5 and Windows Sonic Spatial for Xbox, it really does, it is with the full package here, and that is without getting to the party piece, which obviously is when you, let's say that you get home and you want to throw yourself into a hot gameplay session in Battlefield 6, but your headset is out of juice, well, what will you do?
Well, in this particular instance, you have a little magnetic cover, and then you have a swappable battery, now, the other battery, because you get two, is inside this little game hub here, where it's stored here, meaning that you, all the time, with no exceptions, will always have access to a fully charged headset, and because headsets normally don't sit in docks or something like that, particularly if you're swapping between console formats, well, then, that's actually quite a unique thing, some others have tried it, but they've never come close to the usability, the ease of use with which SteelSeries does this."
"The game hub is also your access to all of these different formats, so, at the back here, you have different USB ports, right here, USB Type-C ports, you can have several, so you can swap between them using the little scroll wheel here, and then the third one is Xbox, that actually means that this is built with Xbox in mind, it will register normally, you can just hot swap between them, you can either just remove the cable and insert it differently, or you can run different types, you get several USB Type-C cables when you buy it, all of this is just so neat, that it doesn't really matter what it costs, this is the Bang & Olufsen argument, you are allowed to charge a premium, and I don't even think this is all that expensive, you're allowed to charge a premium when you're offering the very best, so just be mindful of that, I really think this is worth a look, and if you can get either the Nova Pro Wireless, if you only have one specific platform in mind, this Omni, if you want to swap, or even the Elite, they're all great, and they all represent the very best the market has to offer."
