Handa na kaming maging sarili naming action hero ngayong Oktubre.
"Hello, welcome back to GRTV News, I'm Alex, as always going through the afternoons latest and greatest when it comes to gaming, technology, entertainment, whatever you like and indeed whatever you love, we always have it here for you at GRTV News and in the wider Gamereactor network as a whole. So if you like what you see and you want to see more, be sure to check out Gamereactor wherever you get it from for more gaming reviews, gaming previews, movie reviews, series reviews, exclusives, interviews, all the new sports news. and of course so much more. Without further ado though today we're talking about Phantom Blade Zero, we're talking about the game that's coming out in October, the action game that everyone immediately was like hey that Sekiro has given us enough of a gameplay deep dive I think to kind of perhaps in one way completely distance itself from that game but in another it's certainly giving itself a unique identity and showing more of what we want to see from it. We've seen a bit of the world, the soul world as it's called, or the phantom world, sorry."
"We've seen more of our protagonist's soul. We've just got a lot more concrete details about the game. We know there's going to be 55 weapons split between 30 primary weapons and 25 secondary weapons. That includes things from like the usual swords and spears. and heavier versions of both to cannons that let you shoot from afar and gauntlets which let you basically just punch your way through any fight. We also see that the world itself is built up of eight individual areas that are combined over what is not an open world but is not exactly a linear point-to-point type of map either like you'll be able to explore as we can imagine perhaps something like a God of War or a Black Myth Wukong I guess in that aspect or even a Sekiro, but I would say Sekiro is a tad more open. In any case, we also see that there are multiple difficulty modes for this game, with one of them being super duper interesting in the 66 days mode. If you're not aware of the story, essentially after being defeated by their, you know, non-blood brother, the protagonist's soul has a new heart put into their chest, but it's one that only has 66 days left to live. The difficulties kind of reflect that, or at least one of them does. The main difficulty, or the one that is, I would guess, normal, is called, where is it, Wayfarer? No, Pathbreaker."
"Wayfarer is like the easy mode, it's more cinematic, it lets you be a kung fu master no matter your skill level. Pathbreaker is quite normal, and then Hellwalker is the most difficult. You need to beat the game on Pathbreaker first before you can give Hellwalker a go. 66 days mode is a bit of a different thing. It's a permadeath mode, but not based on one death. Instead, it will act quite close to the story of the game in that the enemies won't be as tough as they are in Hellwalker mode, but you will only have 66 deaths because every time you die in the game a day is spent, meaning you will only be able to die so many times. With how long Phantom Blade Zero looks to probably be, considering how big it is, I would imagine that we will, all of us, probably be dying more than 66 times over the course of a run. Perhaps not, but we'll see. And in any case, we'll be able to explore more of it then. I'm not entirely sure if Hellwalker mode needs to be beat before you can do 66 Days mode, but 66 Days mode looks like the most interesting difficulty out of the bunch there. Which will you be playing when you start playing Phantom Blade Zero on the 29th of October, either on PC or PS5? Let me know, and I'll see you tomorrow for some more GRTV news. Goodbye!"
