This Thursday we have two, well we have two shows to look forward to actually. Both of them are related to PlayStation and both are state of plays, except one is more of a generalised state of play and the other one is focused more on the Japanese Sony will broadcast two state of play presentations back to back this Thursday, a regular state of play followed by a state of play Japan."
"So yeah, we are nearly in September. Summer ends and the new course begins, as well as an absolutely bonkers month with over a dozen major games cramped in this month to escape from the influence of GTA 6. Tokyo Game Show takes place soon, and Sony will have games to show in a pair of State of Play airing this week. On Thursday, September 3rd at 3pm CEST, 2pm BST, a State of Play will air featuring updates and announcements from PlayStation Studios and our third-party partners, and concluding with an extended look at Final Fantasy VII Revelation. Immediately after, A State of Play Japan will begin, hosted by Yuki Kaji, with deep dives into upcoming games from game studios in Japan and Asia, including new announcements."
"The first State of Play will be in English with subtitles in Japanese available, and the second will be in Japanese with English subtitles available. There's no information about the length of these events, but on Thursday, September 3rd, we will have two doses of games for PlayStation 5. Are you excited?
So yeah, Now Gamescom's in the books and we're looking ahead to, it's not really looking ahead to Autumn, it's more looking ahead to early 2027 at this point. We're starting to see more and more of these showcases and more are being announced."
"There's a Konami show that's been sort of teased and Nintendo Direct is being rumoured, Capcom have a spotlight on the way. And of course we have this, which is two State of Plays. And I think you're going to get a lot of information about PlayStation games that we haven't really had much information about relatively recently in the first State of Play. Again, we know Revelation is going to be there."
