Scuf's bagong PlayStation controller ay tumatagal ng isang shot sa sariling hari ng Sony, ngunit paano ito maihahambing?
"Hello everyone and welcome to another Gamereactor Quick Look, it's SCUF time! And it's always nice when it's SCUF time because even though a lot of the features and a lot of the materials and a lot of the strengths of a traditional SCUF controller, be that for PC, Xbox, or Playstation like the case is today, well most people can appreciate even if they're not competitive in their gaming when things are made properly, which is what SCUF controllers tend to be."
"So this is the SCUF Omega and it is just very nice to hold.
Furthermore, there are a couple of things that you do get that is kind of replicated on the DualSense Edge, but most importantly I think at a smaller cost than the DualSense Edge.
First and foremost, you get a carrying case, hard case as well which is very nice, where there isn't like a lot of flam in it, it came in this box and then there is a little extra SCUF box with some extras in there, so that is alternative style buttons and those kinds of things like triggers, that kind of stuff that you get."
"I don't think these are as intricate as they used to be, it used to look like the layout of an Xbox Elite controller box, meaning that in here there would be indented rubber sort of places for these different things.
I do think SCUF is doing themselves a disservice by just making a little cardboard box to throw in there like that."
"I believe the controller came in the box like this and then with that down here.
I just feel like you could do better, like we are talking about luxury controllers.
All PlayStation buyers will get a PS5 DualSense controller with their console.
If they are going to buy something else, either because the controller breaks or they want an additional one and they are going to buy something that is not from Sony themselves, it's probably because they are very discerning."
"So having something like that, that's a bad first impression to be honest with you, but be that as it may, the controller is still really cool.
There are 11 additional inputs here for maximum customization and all of these are made in almost carbon fiber feeling like plastics."
"All of this stuff is snappy.
I don't know if this comes across here on the sound, but look at this sound.
It is the Umbron switches which makes for an almost sort of mechanical tactile face button and D-pad as well and you can feel that tightness all across the controller."
"Even the touchpad button is more springy than the normal DualSense one and that is carried over on these back buttons here as well.
There are two there and two additional ones here over where you hold your hands and this entire bottom and the top is in two types of rubber."
"This is sort of soft touch plastic, very nice indeed, and then this is really firm grippy rubber.
There are a whole host of different things here that aren't on your standard controller.
Here at the front, there are a lot of different shortcuts."
"So there is actually volume buttons, both a mute and a volume up and down on your controller which feels like such a neat little thing to have which I'm not sure is replicated on other mainline luxury controllers.
That is a really good idea and there's additional buttons here for shortcuts as well."
"It can pull a thousand hertz wirelessly and wired, but I believe that this kind of pro grade stuff is PC only and this is a PC PS5 controller, obviously.
As I said, we have adjustable instant triggers which is great.
So it means you can swap easily between a full length one like this or hair triggers, meaning that they just become buttons."
"There is endurance TMR thumbsticks.
That means that there is magnetic resistance and that also means that stick drift should virtually be non-existent for real.
That is great to see, by the way."
"And overall, it's just a lovely constructed thing which is also something that you probably need for your SCUF product.
It is PlayStation 4 branded as you can see here.
It's an officially licensed product, meaning that you can also expect there to be no issues with connection, with all that stuff when you're just using it regularly on your PS5."
"So it is a really cool 2026 performance bump for the Omega and given our history with SCUF, bar the little extra touches which I feel like they could add, this is a really cool product and I can't wait to play it, maybe in the new season of Marathon.
See you on the next one."
